Alien: Isolation is a survival horror game based on the Alien franchise. As Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked population and an unpredictable Alien. You must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission but to simply stay alive. In addition to the main story mode there's Survivor mode in which the player needs to escape from a specially designed map fulfilling secondary objectives along the way, while being aggressively hunted by the alien. This mode includes online leaderboards.

Using cabinet mounted guns you and another player blast away the Aliens in an attempt to save the prison planet. You are also given a limited number of grenades to use when the going gets tough. The gameplay is very close to Sega’s other lightgun games from the period such as Gunblade and Jurassic Park. This game was based on the movie of the same name.

Aliens is an arcade game based loosely on the 1986 movie Aliens. You and a friend play female Marines and you must explore and destroy all aliens who have taken over a now abandoned space settlement LV426 Acheron. If you can find any survivors try to rescue them. As well as your normal gun there are other weapons that can be used to help you. A Caterpillar P-5000 can also be found and used. Aliens is mainly a side view horizontal shooter where the screen scrolls as you move from left to right. Some parts of the game require you to look behind the hero firing into the screen as aliens come towards from the distance as well as moving in other directions like in a lift. You can also be driving into the screen trying to shoot aliens.

Alien³ was released after the Alien 3 film. After success on the Super Nintendo and Genesis platforms, the game was built and ported to other systems, including the Commodore 64 and Game Gear. The game is set on the world of the film, Fury 161, but the gameplay has more in common with the film Aliens, throwing wave after wave of enemies at the player.

Gameplay is standard FPS action, with limited ammo and plenty of hazards to detour around or find the switch to deactivate. The player switches between the four main characters at each level change, each with a slightly different set of abilities (Call has a motion tracker, Christie has his twin pistols from the film). Levels are based around keeping the Auriga running, and making their way through the ship to escape.

Aliens: The Computer Game is a 1986 video game developed by Software Studios and published by Electric Dreams Software initially for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum. It is based on the film of the same title. Ports for the Commodore 16 and MSX were developed by Mr. Micro and published in 1987. Aliens: The Computer Game is played from a first-person perspective and is set inside an atmosphere processing plant, a maze complex consisting of 255 rooms. The player encounters Alien enemies throughout the game. Upon killing an Alien, the body leaves a deadly pool of acid blood that must be avoided. The player also faces the threat of bio-mechanical growth, which, if left uncontained, results in new Alien eggs and facehugger enemies. The player's ultimate goal is to reach the room that houses the Queen Alien and her nests, both of which must be destroyed. The player can directly control a team of Marine soldiers, or can issue orders to the team from the Mobile Tactical Operations Bay (MTOB). When playing from the MTOB, the player has a view of the team's surroundings via video cameras attached to each soldier's helmet.
