Ape Escape 2 is the sequel to Ape Escape. In this platform game it's your goal to catch all the apes jumping, walking and flying around the diverse levels the game has to offer. A large arsenal of gadgets can be used to make it all a little easier, with the catching net being the most important weapons of them all. Other gadgets include a RC Car, to drive over monkey's and collect objects, an Ape Radar, to detect the nearest monkey, a baseball bat, to hit monkeys unconscious, and a magnet, to move certain objects in the maps. Your quest is to catch all monkeys in the levels and to stop the evil Specter from taking over the world. All monkeys in the levels are somewhat unique with their own character abilities and their unique name. Some monkeys just sit on their place, while others attack you with projectiles or run away quickly.

Kei and Yumi take the lead as the new heroes. Their quest is to capture all 400 monkeys. You control either Kei or Yumi. The gameplay involves using various methods and weapons to catch them all. The game has many levels with different themes, such as a Haunted Castle, a Racing level, Jungle settings, TV studios and other settings. You can slow the animals down with various objects such as a stun club or a slingback shooter, and then you can capture them with a net. New to the series are the morphing abilities, eight in all. You can morph into various characters, like a knight and perform a powerful attack or a gun fighter and shoot em up or a ninja and run along walls. You can also vehicles such as a race car to knock down the monkeys. Other features are the familiar Monkeypedia and the unlockable Mesal Gear Solid mini-game (a Metal Gear Solid spoof).

Ape Escape is a single-player 3D platformer released in 1999 for the Playstation. Using the analog stick, you must capture apes that have escaped throughout time to stop them from screwing up the fabric of time and space.

Ape Academy 2 is the sequel of Ape Escape Academy. The game consists of using a deck of of cards to battle your oponents and reduce their stamina. The cards use a Rock–paper–scissors system in which the winning card will apply a penalty to the oponent. In order to apply the penalty you need to win a minigame. To be able to use cards you need an equal or higher numbers of banana specified in the number of the card. You will be rewarded with a new card whenever you win an opponent. After beating some you can unlock bosses and new islands in which you will find more bosses and oponents until you defeat the antagonist.

Ape Escape Academy sees you taking on the role of one of the cheeky monkeys from the Ape Escape series. Choose your chimp, then prepare to tackle various classes in Academy Mode. Each 'class' is actually a mini-game. Your goal is to complete as many mini-games as possible from the 9x9 grid, and score as many lines as you can (sort of like Noughts and Crosses). Mini-games range from mind-bending quizzes to wacky sports games, to the just plain silly, like protecting a roast banana from oncoming apes, or flying through the sky delivering parachutes to plummeting primates.

EyeToy: Monkey Mania (also known as Saru Eye Toy Oosawagi: Wakki Waki Game Tenkomori!! in Asia, Japan, and Korea) is a party game that requires the EyeToy camera to play. It is based on Ape Escape and the monkeys in the game are guided through 50 minigames. Up to four players can play together. The game is available with a silver camera or without for those who may already have the EyeToy.

Pipo Saru 2001 (ピポサル2001 Pipo Saru Ni-sen Ichi) is an action video game in the Ape Escape series developed and published by SCEI for the PlayStation 2 video game console in Japan. A North American version was planned with the working title Ape Escape 2001, but it was canceled due to unknown reasons.

A PlayStation Portable exclusive entry into the long running Ape Escape series which was developed by h.a.n.d. and released by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively in Japan. After kidnapping The Professor, Aki (Akie), Yumi (Sayaka), Kei (Satoru) and Jimmy (Hikaru), Specter goes on to shrink the laboratory with Spike (Kakeru) and Natalie (Natsumi) still inside. On the bright side, the lab is now the perfect size to be disguised as a Pipo Helmet - now, the player will use this gadget to take control over monkeys (Piposaru) in brand new levels to help both protagonists rescue their friends and defeat Specter once again.

Ape Escape M takes the core concepts of the console Ape Escape games and brings them into a 2D game with an overhead perspective. The story is similar to the original Ape Escape in that it has you playing as Spike as he tries to stop Specter and his army of apes, but it does take place after the first game. In each level, you’re tasked with capturing most of the apes with your net before you can advance. You also have other gadgets, such as the stun club, radar, and slingshot that can be used to track the apes and stun them for easier capture. As you explore each level, you can find healing items, items that grant additional lives, and enemies that can only be defeated and not captured. Some levels also have doors that lead back to hidden areas in previous levels if you can find the key to unlock them. There are 121 apes in total to catch across five different worlds and in-game achievements can also be unlocked based on the player’s accomplishments.
