FIFA Manager 13 is a soccer managerial game. It is the 12th game in the FIFA Manager franchise. In this game, you take control of a football team, and basically control all functions of it. You can even found a club, and take it all the way to continental competition. Matches are presented in a 3D match engine, or as text commentary. The game interface is filled with menus, and you can switch from one to the other using widgets and the like.

FIFA Manager 14: Legacy Edition is a re-release of FIFA Manager 13 with an updated database for the season 2013/2014. New are the licenses for the first leagues of Ukraine, Croatia and Czech Republic and some other licenses, e.g. the German third and fourth league, were removed. All gameplay features which had to be unlocked in FIFA Manager 13 are available from the beginning, a few texts were expanded (text mode, interview questions, etc.) and there is no Live Season anymore.

As usual the player has a lot of options to set which are located in several menu screens. The main part of the screen is surrounded by statistics screens which tell the most important facts without needing to navigate to the associated menu screen.

Keeping the same style carried from the ANSTOSS series to Total Club Manager 2003, in FIFA Manager 07 the player has the complete club at his disposal, from managing the team at all levels, dealing in the transfer market to deciding on where the team should expand facilities (now using an isometric city view not unlike SimCity 3000) and increase stadium capacity. Of course, for those less interested in these aspects, they can all be assigned to the appropriate staff member, but good results can only be obtained by hiring the best staff (the team money and prestige) can buy.

FIFA Soccer Manager is EA's first venture into the market of football managers. With a line-up of twelve leagues in five different countries (England with four divisions and Germany, Italy, France and Scotland with two). The calendar follows realistically how the competitions develop, so expect a Winter break in Germany, a September league start in Italy and many weeks with double fixtures in France. The database, composed by over 7500 players, also includes some European sides, and the three European competitions are present.
