Operation Abyss is a first person RPG dungeon crawler with turn-based battles using a customized team of 6 characters from a total of 10 classes. Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy is a combined remake of the first two games in the Generation Xth trilogy, Code Hazard and Code Breaker, by Experience Inc. based on the Wizardry series. They were only released in Japan. The sequel "Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy" is the remake of the third Generation Xth game, Code Realize.

The save file from the first game can be used in the second. The games were not originally released outside of Japan but a fan translation was made for Code Hazard. The first and second game were later re-released on the Playstation Vita in Japan under the name "Tokyo Shinseiroku: Operation Abyss" in 2014 and in North America and Europe under the name "Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy" in 2015.

Code Breaker is the second game in the "Generation Xth" trilogy. It is a first person dungeon crawling RPG with turn based combat released for PC in Japan. You use a team of 6 people to explore the Abyss. The game allows you to carry over your save file from the first game to continue the adventure with your original team. The first and second game were later re-released together on the Playstation Vita in Japan under the name "Tokyo Shinseiroku: Operation Abyss" in 2014 and in North America and Europe under the name "Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy" in 2015.

Labyrinth Cross Blood is a first-person RPG dungeon crawler that uses a team of 6 characters with a choice of 2 classes each. The game was ported to the Xbox 360, new events and added voice acting, with the subtitle "Reloaded" in 2011. This new content was available on PC through a patch on the developers site. It was later remade for the PlayStation Vita with the subtitles "Infinity", in 2012, and had an improved re-release "Infinity Ultimate", in 2014. The game has been only released in Japan across all versions. It is based in the same world as the Generation Xth trilogy.

Labyrinth Cross Blood: Infinity is a first-person RPG dungeon crawler and remake of Labyrinth Cross Blood for PC and Xbox 360. This version of the game includes new items, enemies and events. It also has an Infinity mode that uses a team of 5 instead of 6. The game had an improved re-release on the PlayStation Vita with the subtitle "Infinity Ultimate", in 2014. It includes some improvements to game features/mechanics, and new character portraits. This version is meant to be played after Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy as the save data can be used to bring over character portraits, items that let you save in dungeons, and an accessory that makes enemies stronger for higher item drop rates. The game has been only released in Japan across all versions. It is based in the same world as the Generation Xth trilogy.

Code Realize is the final game in the "Generation Xth" trilogy. It is a first person dungeon crawling RPG with turn based combat released for PC in Japan. You use a team of 6 people to explore the Abyss. The game allows you to carry over your save file from the previous game.
