Ongeki is a Japan-exclusive arcade rhythm game by Sega, released in 2018. It combines traditional rhythm gameplay with bullet-hell elements, using a joystick and six-button layout. Players hit notes, dodge obstacles, and attack enemies in time with music. It features a gacha-style card system for upgrading characters and uses a unique GP (Game Points) credit system. The game is part of Sega's rhythm game lineup alongside maimai and Chunithm.

Ongeki Bright Memory introduced the "Memories of O.N.G.E.K.I" event, allowing players to unlock songs and items by completing specific chapter challenges. All songs from this event were made publicly available to all players in 2024.

Ongeki SUMMER is the successor to Ongeki Plus. It adds a new story chapter (“Shooter Festival”), introduces SR+ rarity cards, new items for progression, and a revamped mission system. Quality-of-life updates include playlist sorting, UI improvements, and a raised level cap.
