Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5DX (also known as Maximum Tune 5DX or simply Maxi 5DX) is an arcade racing game developed and published by Namco, based on the Wangan Midnight manga. As the eighth installment in the Wangan Midnight arcade series, this update introduces two foreign car manufacturers, Dodge and Audi, to the Japanese version, which were previously available only in the international versions of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5. Additionally, two courses from the Japanese version of Maximum Tune 5, Sub-Center Ikebukuro and Shinjuku/Shibuya, were introduced to the international version. As the thirteenth installment in the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune arcade series, this game marks the third upgrade to Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6, following the 6 R and 6 RR updates. It was released in Japan on April 17, 2024, with the release date for the Asian version yet to be confirmed. The game was announced during a live stream celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune series.

Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5DX+ (also known as Maximum Tune 5DX+ or simply Maxi 5DX+) is an arcade racing game developed and published by Namco, based on the Wangan Midnight manga. As the ninth game in the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune arcade series and the final update for Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5, this version introduces two new car manufacturers, Lamborghini and Honda, as well as the Hiroshima Expressway course. A new Ghost Battle mode, exclusive to the Japanese and Indonesian versions, allows players to compete against ghosts from other countries, similar to the Japan Challenge in the international versions. The update was released in North America on January 12, 2022, under the name Maximum Tune 5DX+, skipping the 5DX version for unknown reasons. In this version, the Honda brand is replaced by Acura, its North American counterpart, although many Honda cars remain, except for the Honda S2000, which only appears in the Japan Challenge.
