Each of these variants has a unique feel which refreshes the logic you may be used to, especially in thermo and sandwich sudoku!

In Sandwich Sudoku, the puzzle is presented with extra numbers outside the grid next to each row and column. These numbers indicate the SUM of cells sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that row/column. The logic required to solve the puzzles will appeal to anyone who enjoys normal sudoku and a bit of basic maths. Each puzzle here has been lovingly hand-crafted by Mark Goodliffe and Simon Anthony, the hosts of Cracking The Cryptic. They've even included their own hints on each puzzle to help if you get stuck. Mark and Simon have both represented the UK many times in the World Sudoku Championship.

In Arrow Sudoku, every puzzle contains a handful of "arrows" laid out in unique patterns. The numbers found along the shaft of the arrow must sum up to the number at the base. This simple rule leads to endless variety in the puzzles you will conquer.

Chess Sudoku takes the classic sudoku game everyone knows and loves and creates 3 different puzzles with chess-related twists! In Knight Sudoku, in addition to the normal rules of sudoku, a digit must not appear a chess knight's move away from itself. King Sudoku and Queen Sudoku work the same way with a few differences. In King Sudoku a digit must not be a single diagonal move away from itself. In Queen Sudoku, every 9 in the grid acts like a chess Queen and must not be in the same row/column/3x3 box or diagonal of any other 9.
