Planet Coaster is a construction and management simulation video game. Similar to its spiritual predecessor, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (also developed by Frontier), the game allows players to build different theme park rides and roller-coasters.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition is an updated release of RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 that includes the Soaked! and Wild! expansion packs. It retains the original theme park management and construction gameplay while adding widescreen support and improved compatibility on PC, with a redesigned interface and controls on Nintendo Switch.

Players can build and manage amusement parks, design roller coasters, and view attractions from multiple camera angles, including the Coaster Cam, which allows rides to be experienced from a first-person perspective. The game includes a redesigned user interface, full camera control, a park lighting system, and customizable guests that can be added to the park. Fireworks displays can be created with the Fireworks MixMaster, while Sandbox mode provides unlimited funds for unrestricted park construction. Available visual themes include Generic, Spooky, Western, Adventure, and Sci-fi.
