There are several Hugo video games based on early episodes of Interactive Television Entertainment's TV show Hugo, part of the international Hugo franchise. From 1990 to 2000, ITE developed and released versions for Amiga, Commodore 64 and PC and the Game Boy, Game Boy Color and PlayStation consoles. In 2011, Krea Media published a series of mobile game remakes for Android. The Hugo games resemble those on the television show; in almost all of them, the player guides the titular protagonist (a small, friendly troll named Hugo) to save his wife and children from the witch Scylla. To rescue his family, Hugo must navigate safely through dangerous environments in various minigame scenarios.

Hugo: Wild River, also known as Hugo 6, is a video game developed and published by ITE for the PC in 1998. As with other classic Hugo games, it was based on the newest scenarios from the TV game shows.
The troll Hugo goes, or rather flies, into his adventures in completely new ways. This time he finds himself in the infinite universe and the his family is involved. The evil witch Scylla's spies find out about the discovery of a new large asteroid in outer space, consisting entirely of the black diamonds. Scylla immediately breaks into Professor Rumbohr's house to steal his technology, improves it with her dark magic, and together with Don Croco and his soldiers hastily sets off into outer space. She wants to collect all the energy of the black diamonds to make a ray of pure evil that will enchant the Troll Forest's peaceful animals and turn them into her monster minions. It is up to Rumbohr, Hugo, Rat and Rut and the Professor to thwart Scylla's diabolical plan. Hugo needs to land on the different planets of Solar System in order to get the super fuel and a weapon for the job. With it the can reach Scylla, who is already on the asteroid, and battle her there to destroy her mining base, and then chase after the fleeing witch herself to defeat her before she can get away.
This Hugo franchise game is an edutainment game - its theme is about biology. Its gameplay is varied between stages. In one stage, you might be guiding a near-sighted swallow to eat some insects, while on another stage you'll be tasked to memorize all the shown animals in a correct order. Essentially, the stages are minigames with puzzle or puzzle-like elements included. The stages are presented in a non-linear format, so you can enter in these stages anyway you like. Hugo: The Magic Oak or The Magic Oak is a 1998 video game developed and published by ITE Media for the PC as part of the "Play and Learn" series. It was titled Den Fortryllede Eg / Hugo: Leg Og Lær 1 in Denmark, Tajemný les (Mystic forest) in Czechia, Taikatammi in Finland, Die Zaubereiche in Germany, Zaczarowany dąb in Poland, and Кузя и его друзья: Волшебное дерево (Kuzya and friends: The magic tree) in Russia. Originally released on 1 June 1998, the game was re-released on 21 April 2005 as Hugo Gold III in Germany. Hugo: Scylla's Revenge (international title) is a PC-only video game originally developed by Krogh Mortensen Animation and published by ITE Media in 1999. It is the third of Hugo Christmas special games ("Wintergames"), the other ones being Winter Games and Hugo Saves Christmas.
The little troll Hugo is on a new adventure to free his wife Hugolina and their three children from being captured by the evil witch Scylla. She has put many obstacles in his way with much cunning and malice. Would he finally reach the cave to free his family, Scylla is already there waiting for him!
Hugo, the TV troll from the Danish television series, is on his way to start his first day at the espionage agency R.I.S.K. (Risky Intelligent Spy Knights) when he is attacked by members of the sinister organization SUSPECTRA. Their plans are threatening the entire city, but Agent Hugo soon discovers there is even more at stake. The game is played as a platformer with racing elements. Agent Hugo can use the R.I.S.K. Aquapolis boat with heat-seeking missiles and nitro acceleration. It can also dive and regular weapons can be used. While avoiding mines, the vessels can launch boomballs to blow up energy facilities, knock out enemies and open gates. Hugo can also swim and board other types of boats. On land, he has to either attack or sneak past enemies, with several disguises to stay undetected. When discovered, a meter starts to fill up. It can only be depleted by shaking off enemies and finding a hiding spot.
One beautiful summer's evening, the frogs suddenly stop croaking. Don Croco's soldiers are busy catching all the frongs for a barbecue. And so Hugo sets off on a journey through the Swamp, Jungle, Crystal Grotto and the Factory to save the frogs.
