A special edition titled AKIBA'S TRIP2+A was announced on October 11, 2016 and released on January 5, 2017 for the PlayStation 4. It feature the complete game in HD along with the first episode of the Akiba's Trip -The Animation- via the download ticket, as well as the 3 bonus animation character costumes as clothing.

Akiba's Beat is an action RPG developed by Acquire and is the sequel to Akiba's Trip. The game takes place in Akihabara where the party getting stuck in a world of delusions, trapped in a repeating day-long cycle on a Sunday.

Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is an open-world action RPG in which players undertake numerous missions in a virtual recreation of Akihabara, Tokyo’s popular ”Electric Town” district.
