For the first time ever Robbie Williams is set to star in his own singing video game. We Sing Robbie Williams will feature 25 tracks from the chart-topping artist, which will be accompanied by all the original videos making it a true celebration of the British born, multimillion selling pop star.
Complete with a computer generated Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell, with trademark insults, American Idol is a music-based, rhythm-action game that will allow you to create, style, and train a contestant for the competition. Once styled and trained you'll see your contestant progress through the auditions, various heats, and then, hopefully, make it to the grand final. You'll need quick fingers as you match the right combination of buttons to what's displayed on the screen helping your contestant sing a sweet harmony and dance to the rhythm of the song. Get it wrong and your voice fades and goes out of tune as the judges and later the audience grow unsettled.
SingStar Rock Ballads is a karaoke game, featuring hit rock ballad songs. The game gives points which are distributed by the purity of singing, as in how well does one manage to stay on tune. It doesn't matter if you change octaves in the middle of the song or what words are you singing in (it doesn't have a word recognition), so your singing is rated by how well you manage to hit the correct note at the correct time.
The X Factor Sing is based on the popular British TV show lets the player experience the thrill of singing in front of a live audience from the comfort of there living room. The game uses a microphone peripheral similar to Singstar.

American Idol is a rhythm game based on the reality TV singing competition of the same name. Players can create characters of either gender, choosing from several character templates, and then customizing them with body size, skin color, and one of three singing voices per gender. Created characters can then be taken through the game's various modes. In the main Competition mode, players move through different stages patterned after the TV series, from auditions to shows with a live audience and hopefully the finals. Between performances, outfit, hair style and color and make up can be customized, since not only the singing but also the style will be judged.
