You are Kenji Ohara, a motor boat expert. The evil Dr. Orca has kidnapped your sister Kim. Together with your best friend Luka you must find his hideout on a deserted island, and rescue your sister from his clutches. But that won't be easy, as Dr. Orca has sent his henchmen to stop you! This is a sailing action game. You navigate your motor boat from a third person perspective view, increasing and decreasing your speed, avoiding yachts and other obstacles, and shooting down the enemies who are trying to stop you.

From kickstarter: "The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human is a metroid-vania styled action/adventure game where you play as the navigator of Argo 9, a spaceship/submarine hybrid, thrust back to Earth in a time after humans have gone extinct. Whereupon one will have to explore to uncover the reasons for humanity's downfall meanwhile encountering monstrous sea creatures. The focus of this game lies in exploration, story and boss battles. It is up to the player to determine if the ruins of our species is a travesty or an inevitable conclusion."

The sun. For millions of years the source of life. But for one planet the source of it's demise. The temperature climbed, the vast pools of ice at it's poles melted, and the oceans rose. Centuries later, few people remained on this planet, once called Earth. A lone mariner sails the expanse of water, trading to survive. For survival, is all these people do, in this place they know only as Waterworld.

In this horizontal scrolling shoot'em up the player must successfully navigate a submarine through an underwater course while avoiding or destroying enemies and obstacles with the final aim to wreck a heavily guarded reactor.

You have discovered a long-sought-after buried treasure, and just when you thought you have discovered a long-sought-after troubles were over, things get really tough! There's a persistent shark who thinks that the treasure belongs to him, and he is after you! As if that were not enough to contend with, there's a big old octopus sitting right above your trove who keeps reaching down to check things out. There you are, shooting at the shark, fighting off the octopus tentacles, and you realize your oxygen supply is running low. Your partner, in the boat, keeps dropping you a line, and you better run over and fill up. It is not going to be easy to hold on to your treasure now that you've found it, but we're sure you are not going to give it up without a fight.

In Waterworld, you play from an overhead/isometric perspective controlling the Mariner's boat on the ocean. The point of the game is to destroy the Smokers' boats and dive for sunken artifacts, at which point the game switches to a side on perspective so that the player can directly control the Mariner underwater.
