Zuisouroku fills in the gaps in the Hakuouki story. You can see the everyday lives of Chizuru and the Shinsengumi members. This game contains more heart melting moments, delicately drawn CGs and fully voiced scenes. Come meet the Shinsengumi swordsmen and tame the bloodthirsty monster within them.

Spring, a season of blessing for new encounters. Yukimura Chizuru knocks on the gates of a private academy, which has since been a boys' school. However, as of this year, Hakuou Academy opens its gates to co-education and Chizuru is the only female student enrolled. Thus, begins her first year. This game takes place before main Hakuoki games, during early days of Shinsengumi. You play as a male character and gather not romance affection points like in the other otome games, but friend affection points with Shinsengumi members.
