Koko Adventure

In Yoshi Topsy-Turvy, Yoshi Island has been turned into a picture book. Yoshi will not stand for this outlandish attempt at flattening his world, and he heads off on an adventure to return things back to their original state. To help in on his quest, a group of spirits who like to surprise people give Yoshi the ability to rotate the world to his liking. The big catch with Yoshi Topsy-Turvy is its use of a motion sensor, similar to the one set to be featured in the second Wario Ware GBA game. The game cartridge includes a built in motion sensor which detects how you move the GBA system. By turning the system, you make the world rotate. A meter on the upper right corner of the screen shows which way the system is being held at any time. Rotate the system to help Yoshi stay on the path and make it past perils and through the varied stages. Go full tilt! By tilting your Game Boy Advance, you'll tilt the environment around Yoshi, knocking over enemies, swinging pendulums, and letting Yoshi run up walls and leap huge pits! Will this ending be happy? All of Yoshi's Island is trapped in a storybook, and only by meeting the challenges of each chapter will you succeed. Collect coins, defeat enemies, or race for the finish to satisfy each course's conditions

Planet Hop is a game for the Gameboy. It is a family-friendly, pick up and play retro style action platformer, reminiscent of past Nintendo Gameboy games series, such as Mario Land and Kirby.

Ghoul Grind: Night of the Necromancer is an auto-scrolling action platformer playable right on your very own NES! Play as deft duo Nox Francisca and Veronica Mimieux. Black Castle is a action platformer for the Game Boy. It is inspired by "Castlevania" or "Fortress Of Fear". There are four levels to fight through and also four different weapons. All have their own pros and cons. At the end of each level there is a boss fight.

Kromasphere is a platforming adventure game developed by CMC Games where you control the Ninja and you have to collect color orbs in order to progress through the level. Each orb adds a new platform that allows you to reach previously unreachable locations. There are 8 worlds that need color restored to them, and each world brings a new theme and set of enemies. The levels are long, and exploration is a must.

Monty's Honey Run is a platformer for the ZX Spectrum featuring the Monty Mole. It is the first unlicensed game developed by Andy Johns, now lead of Bubblesoft Games.

Powa! is a newly-developed action-platformer in a similar vein as other genre-classics of the handheld, like Kirby's Dreamland and Trip World. The gameplay is decidedly kept simple and makes Powa! easy to pick it up, but challenging to conquer. A good variety of level themes and obstacles, with an ever-increasing difficulty curve keep the experience thoroughly engaging and fresh!

If you like Korean Famicom games, this one should be right up your alley. It's made by some of the guys who went on to form Open Corp (the team that made Buzz & Waldog), and that game's DNA is really obviously present in this one - those same sound effects ripped off from Tiny Toon Adventures, a similar aesthetic, etc. In a lot of ways this game is simpler, but in many others it's actually a way more ambitious game, complete with a shop system, minigames, lots of character upgrades, etc. The ROM size is even twice that of Buzz & Waldog!
