Legend of the River King 2 is a massive role-playing adventure that features all manner of angling from fresh water fly-fishing to deep sea trolling. A new trade mode allows you to trade your fish for produce with farmers in Harvest Moon GBC2!
The story begins with a sprite, named Yuki, who had control over the Heaven Jewel. Unfortunatly by some twist of fate, the Heaven Stone somehow split into two pieces. One piece was taken by the Mountain God, and the other piece was taken by the Sea God. Yuki asks for your help in retrieving the two pieces so that she can put the Heaven Jewel back together. The Mountain God transformed into the River King and the Sea God transformed into the Sea King. It's your job to go out into the world and fish up the two kings.

The game follows the journey of teenage goalkeeper and team captain Mark Evans, and carries directly on from the ending of the first game Inazuma Eleven. After winning the football tournament at the end of the previous game, the school is suddenly attacked by mysterious aliens! Mark and the rest of his team, the Raimon Eleven, must now travel all around Japan to find the strongest football players in order to defeat the aliens in a football match before they destroy the world.

The heroes have to travel around Japan, recruit new players, seek the secret behind the Aliea Academy, and save Japan from being destroyed.

But it was never released outside of Japan. The game is unique in that it combines fishing with traditional JRPG elements with those of Fishing games.

Mark Evans is a very talented goalkeeper and the grandson of one of the strongest goalkeepers in Japan, who supposedly died before Mark was born. Even though his skills and enthusiasm are incredible, his school lacks a real soccer club, as the six other members don't appear very interested even in training. One day, when a mysterious forward named Axel Blaze moves to Mark's town, the young goalkeeper sets out to find and recruit members for his soccer team. There are nearly 1000 playable characters with varying skills that will determine the success of the team. As you play through the story, Mark can recruit various characters on the team and help achieve his ultimate goal of competing!
