Shanghai: Second Dynasty includes several modes: Classic Shanghai, Dynasty, Pandamonium, as well as Windstorm and new "beat-the-clock" arcade modes. An official American Mah-Jongg association product, Second Dynasty now includes four authentic versions of Mah-jongg. Fifty-four tilesets are now included, with optional "power tiles" useful for the multiplayer mode. Players can create their own tiles by importing custom images. The game also includes an online mode where players can compete against each other.

Shanghai: True Valor is a 3D puzzler based on the classic Oriental games Mah Jong and Shanghai. Each game starts off with a stack of tiles arranged in a pyramid shape. In order to win, the player is required to match up tiles by finding "free" tiles of the same type. For instance, some tiles have numbers and some have pictures; the object is to find a tile not restricted, blocked, or under another tile. Once a player matches up two tiles of the same type, they are removed and the pyramid is reduced. By removing tiles, previously restricted tiles may be opened up. Gameplay flows in this fashion until there are no more tiles or a stalemate. Stalemates are very common and occur when there are no possible matches or moves remaining.

Layton 7 was a multiplayer deduction game released exclusively for mobile devices in Japan. In June of 2018, Layton 7's official website went offline indefinitely, and the link was removed from the franchise's Japanese homepage. As of 2022, no supplementary details or updates have been announced, meaning that any form of further development and/or release at this point is highly unlikely. Whether or not the game was eventually scrapped has never been confirmed either, although the lack of news for almost seven years, sudden shutdown of the website, and removal from the main Layton site implies it very well could have been.
