ercenaries 2: World Nearly in Flames is a side-scrolling flash game, made to promote the Mercenaries 2 console games. In it, the player takes control of the mercenary, Mattias Nilsson, who must retrieve a client's briefcase that has been traced to Venezuela and must destroy the army in order to retrieve it. There are four stages in all, each with their own uniqueness. The first mission is a side-scrolling platform, shooting at enemy soldiers while using grenades, flame throwers and even heavy machine guns while avoiding rockets fired from the top of the screen and faces a helicopter at the end. The second stage is a rail shooting game in a tank, shooting at enemy helicopters and tanks, gathering fuel up to continue the stage while jumping to avoid houses and boulders and fighting off a giant blimp at the end. The third stage is in the side of a helicopter, using a missile launcher to fire at enemy copters, letting more than four pass the screen will end the game. And the fourth and final level is a sniper stage, shooting the enemy soldiers at an enemy compound to lure the general out afterwards. The gameplay has two different styles, the "Next Gen" utilizes the mouse as well as the keyboard, using the keyboard keys to move and jump and the mouse to aim and shoot. The "Old School" uses the keyboard keys to move, jump, fire and toss grenades or players can also customize their controls. There are also two game modes to play in, "Wuss" and "Insane".

A bounty of a hundred million dollars for General Song was declared. This is where the mercenaries enter the playfield. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is a free-roaming war action and driving game with open-ended gameplay in a large world. The player can choose to control any of the three mercenary protagonists, each with their own strengths: North American Chris Jacobs can sustain higher damage; Jennifer Mui from Hong-Kong is proficient in stealth; Mattias Nilsson from Sweden can run faster than the others. Each of the mercenary also speaks different languages, which makes him or her more or less suitable for work with particular factions. Players have free reign of a massive landscape to take bounties on the "Deck of 52", a list of most wanted criminals in North Korea, as well as a number of factions. Four factions have moved in to take advantage of the coup for personal gains; each faction will offer the player resources such as vehicles and supplies, as well as missions that the player can use to make money off of. If the player makes a faction happy, they will offer intel on the locations of various bounties from the deck. Players have a vast array of resources available to them to get the job done. It is possible to commandeer tanks, choppers and and any other military hardware to blow up the game's destructible landscape across the North Korean countryside. Helping out various factions provides access to numerous vehicle drops, supply drops, and air strikes.

Girls' Frontline is a moe anthropomorphism game in which the player controls of android characters, known in-game as "T-Dolls" or "Tactical Dolls", each of which represents a real-world firearm. The player plays as a newly recruited commander of an area who commands the T-Dolls in battle, and organises the echelons as well as the T-Dolls' wellbeing. Battles are a mix of turn-based strategy puzzles on a set map with enemies that can move about, random item nodes and heliports/command nodes, from which the player can summon their own echelons, or support echelons, which are echelons that the player's friend sets on their profile to be used by others, and real-time battles with enemy echelons. Battles are for the most part automated, although the player can activate the T-Dolls' special abilities manually if wanted, or order them to different spots in formation (which the player can organise out of battle to be set as the default formation when entering a battle) or to withdraw in order to conserve health or resources). Players also have the option of withdrawing specific echelons from the mission altogether if they wish. Gameplay progresses by playing on the campaign missions, logistic support missions, or combat simulations to level up each T-Doll. The game also features gacha elements, such as in the production and heavy production of T-Dolls and equipment, or in the Dormitory with costumes and furniture sets for the T-Dolls on a time-limited basis with several sets and costumes being available for a limited time, before another few sets and costumes are revealed and added. After a while, old costumes from previous gacha events will be added to the "Black Card" store, where players can exchange an amount of Black Cards (obtained from gifting T-Dolls a duplicate costume that has already been gifted before) for a costume of a previous gacha set. Players can customise their dorms with furniture, and interact with Chibi renditions of the T-Dolls in the echelon corresponding with that dorm. They can also gift the T-Dolls food and costume, which raises the affection of the T-Dolls. Affection is also gained from success in battle, and is lost when the T-Dolls die (unless it is a boss battle) or when another T-Doll in the same echelon dies.

Absolute Force Online is a first-person shooting game, which is the first in China to make use of the Unreal 3 Engine. Players can take on the roles of hardened mercenaries, either the fiendish Rotten Angels or the honorable Hands of Justice. They are able to use advanced weapons and military vehicles (aircraft and tanks) to fight battles in famous locations, mysterious islands, and modern cities from all around the world.
