In this arcade companion game to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and the second arcade installment of the Mario & Sonic series. As with the Nintendo Switch version, the game takes place in Tokyo, Japan, home of the 2020 Summer Olympics, and features events from both 2020, as well as 2D Events from the 1964 Summer Olympics, which were also held in Tokyo.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is the sixth installment in the Mario & Sonic series based on the real-world 2020 Summer Olympics, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan. The game includes a number of events, including returning ones from previous Mario & Sonic titles, such as boxing, soccer, swimming, and gymnastics, and new ones, such as karate, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. It will also feature a mode with 2D Events where players can compete in classic 2D versions of events from the 1964 Summer Olympics. Based off older sports games, these events are played using button controls only and will only feature eight playable characters. These 2D Events' animations reflect the 8-bit Mario and 16-bit Sonic game art style.

The racing game NASCAR Racing 2002 Season or NR2002 for short, was the successor to the immensely popular NASCAR Racing 4 and the immediate precursor to the even more popular NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. This sim provided much more accurate car models and a vastly improved physics engine. Using the Aspen engine, the game opens up the hunting simulation into wide maps with plenty of vegetation, but without the framerate hits. Players can customize a hunter and the weapons used to. As the player progresses through the game, skill points are awarded and the character grows to be a more efficient hunter. Multiplayer is included so that players can challenge each other in online hunts and compete for the monster prizes.

Working in partnership with F1, for the first time ever, players will be able to get behind the wheel of a 2019 regulation car specifically designed in collaboration with F1’s technical team, headed up by Ross Brawn and Pat Symonds. The car, which will be available in Multiplayer, adheres to the 2019 regulations and comes with a range of livery designs offering players a new level of personalization. The 2019 F1 Team liveries will also feature on the car in early marketing materials, but will be replaced by the final Team cars ahead of the game's release.
