Pokémon Lost World: Echoes of Eternity

The planet of Evvig is ruled by a Pokémon known as Ouroboros, the Infinity Dragon. Long ago, it saved the world from destruction at the hands of an evil god named Azzarots and sealed it away to prevent harm to humanity. However, before being sealed, Azzarots chose a loyal servant to one day bring about its revival. This plan was ultimately stopped by Jake, the second hero chosen by Ouroboros to save the world. Centuries have passed. The protagonist is a survivor of a brutal attack by a cult that burned down their village, sacrificing countless lives in an effort to revive the ancient god, Azzarots. Now 18 years old, the protagonist has become a shut-in, spending their time playing games at home. However, when their professor asks them to run an errand, they decide that perhaps it's time to travel. seeking their purpose and discovering what they truly want to do.
