Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals serves as a prequel to Lufia & the Fortress of Doom, unfolding its events ninety-nine years before. The narrative delves into the origins of the series' antagonists, the Sinistrals, a group of super-humans. Players take on the role of the ancestor of Maxim, the protagonist from the first game, as he embarks on a quest after encountering Iris, a mysterious woman. Maxim seeks other heroes to join forces in preventing the Sinistrals from wreaking havoc and destroying the world. Like its predecessor, Rise of the Sinistrals follows the Japanese-style turn-based RPG format with an infusion of puzzle elements. The game incorporates intricate puzzles into its dungeon designs, requiring players to use various items and accessories for solving. Additionally, it introduces the "Capsule Monsters" system, allowing summoned monsters to participate in battles. These creatures evolve through the consumption of weapons, armour, or special fruits. Unlike the first game, dungeons in Rise of the Sinistrals lack random battles, with enemies visibly moving on-screen.

Control a clown to pull in and throw back balloons hurled from the top of the screen. If you line up three or more balloons of the same color in a vertical row, they will burst. If you're not quick enough, the balloons will squash the clown and the game is over. Once you've got the hang of bursting balloons, you'll need to master combos and chains. Puzzle Quest 2 is a video game developed by Infinite Interactive for the Nintendo DS, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft Windows. It was released on June 22, 2010 by D3 Publisher. It is the sequel to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, and like its predecessor, it combines role-playing with strategy and puzzle elements. It uses a competitive, Bejeweled-style, "match three game" playfield to simulate combat and other activities common to role-playing games.

It would be the final appearance of Puzzle Bobble on the Sega Saturn. Like its predecessors, the player is tasked with shooting balls at groups of balls, creating groups of 3 or more, which are then removed from play. A European remake is entitled Bust-a-Move 3 DX. released in America as Bust-a-Move '99.
Ultizurk III: The Guildmaster's Quest is a shareware top-down fantasy role-playing game that is visually similar to Ultima VI. As the eponymous Guildmaster, the player must save the kingdom from a mysterious threat. The player controls a party of two: the Guildmaster and his companion Losi from the previous adventure in The Great Ultizurkian Underland. Basic interaction with the game world is accomplished by using the mouse, talking to NPCs requires the player to type keywords highlighted in yellow. The game boasts a great degree of interactivity, with the player being able to manipulate most items in a way they would behave in real life (e.g. fill a bucket with water and then put a burning torch out with it).
King's Dungeon was released in December 1992 by Soft Plan. In King's Dungeon, you play as a Dark Lord who defends his castle against invading heroes. You summon minions and traps to attempt to defeat the heroes. Each hero slaying grants you experience, which helps unlock new things to summon. There is a total of 40 levels.
