Alpiner is a third-person action game in which the player's goal is to climb safely to the top of various mountains. Each of the six mountains the player climbs has various obstacles which should be avoided: falling rocks, avalanches, wild animals, trees, and brush fires can all hinder progress. Being hit by these obstacles will cause the player to lose progress, falling down part of the mountain (some obstacles cause a short falling distance, others a long distance). Should the player fall all of the way to the bottom of the mountain a life will be lost. To help anticipate obstacles, voice synthesis provide a warning when danger is near. Each mountain has a time limit in which it must be climbed, though the timer only counts down when the climber isn't moving. As the player progresses through the levels the mountains become higher and obstacles become faster and more numerous.

You control the tomato by independently directing his two feet, one foot at a time. He make kick in eight directions with whichever foot is not planted in the ground at the given moment. Power ups are revealed by kicking trees, flowers, mushrooms, and other obstacles that are scattered throughout each stage. They may take the form of shoes which grant him the ability move on certain surfaces, or candy which gives him special abilities. Each stage has a "back side" which is accessed by stepping on holes in the ground reveal under kicked obstacles, and provide more power-ups to find.

Dizzy Down the Rapids is an arcade style action video game that was published in 1991 by Codemasters for the Amstrad CPC, Spectrum, DOS, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and Amiga. The game involves Dizzy riding barrels down a river avoiding obstacles and enemies. This was another game derived from a minigame game found in The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy like Bubble Dizzy. The game was based on the game play from an arcade game titled Toobin'. The C64 version was developed first by Paul Black. The C64 version was originally a clone of Toobin called 'Toobin Turles'. When the game was taken to Codemasters for consideration, it was rebranded to take advantage of the Dizzy character.

Chopper I is a 1988 arcade hall video game, developed by SNK. The objective of this top-down game is to infiltrate enemy territory and essentially destroy all objects. The game can be played with 1 or 2 players; both players, each occupying one helicopter, play simultaneously.

The latest game in the Illvelo (Illimatic Envelope) STG Series, Developed by RS34. The game is noted for it's branching level structure and focus on surreal visuals.
