Super Tennis

Smash Tennis is a tennis game that was created by Namcot for the Super Nintendo in 1993. It was released in Europe as Smash Tennis by Virgin Interactive. A North American release of the game wouldn’t be seen until February 2020 where it would be part of the Nintendo Switch Online lineup. The controls of Smash Tennis work similar to other tennis games and especially Namco's previous tennis game World Court Tennis: the player moves the athlete over the court and presses buttons with the correct timing in order to win the match. This time there is no story mode, but a tournament mode instead. Here the goal is to win the Grand Slam by playing various tournament matches. However. a match only has a single set. There are 20 athletes (both male and female) to choose from which have different advantages and drawbacks.

Let's play soccer - the world's favorite sport! In Super Soccer you can choose between an Exhibition mode and a Tournament mode. While the first mode lasts a single game only the Tournament mode challenges you with 16 consecutive games, facing the Nintendo Allstar Team in the final round. The field is shown in a top-down perspective. Scrolling is done by Mode 7 chip. Difficulty varies with the opponent team, ranging from easy to hard in later games in the tournament. After winning a match in the tournament mode, you will be rewarded witch a code in order to pick up the game in the same round of the tournament later on.

This Game is 2-Player Only. In this version of soccer, each player controls 4 men, though only one at a time. The computer moves the other 3 for you. A computer-controlled goalie will help out when a goal attempt is made. Kick the ball around for 90 minutes, and try to score more than your opponent.

Kick Off was the first football game of its kind, having a top-down view and unlike other football games of that time, the ball was not glued to the feet of the players.

Final Blow is a boxing arcade game created in 1988 by Taito. The name would remain the same for all ported platforms, except for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis versions, which Sega released outside Japan as James 'Buster' Douglas Knockout Boxing featuring Buster Douglas himself in 1990 immediately after his victory over Mike Tyson. The game is essentially a side scrolling boxing game where the player moves left and right to control a screen sized boxer. When the timing is right, the player can unleash a final blow punch which can sometimes KO the opponent in a single strike. The home versions contained a spectator mode where the player can watch their favorite boxers compete.
