A port of the arcade game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles released in 2017 which was based on the the 2012 Nickelodeon TV series. This port adds three new stages and six new boss battles to the gameplay of the original arcade game.

The Genesis version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up that can be played by up to two players, where the player can control both the Rangers themselves and their Zords (depending on the level). The game consists of six stages, with the first two stages and the final one covering events from the film, whereas Stage 3 to 5 are set before the events of the film and adapts key episodes from the TV show's second season (namely "White Light", "Ninja Encounter", and "Power Transfer"). The game's soundtrack, composed by Hikoshi Hashimoto, features hard rock arrangements of Ron Wasserman's original TV themes. The game contains a total of nine rangers: Tommy, Adam, Kimberly, Billy, Aisha, Rocky, Zach, Trini, and Jason. When selecting Jason, Zach, and Trini, the voice clips of Adam, Aisha, and Rocky are heard when calling out their respective Zord name as their morphing command. The reason for this is because the original actors for them were released from contract after the events of the Power Transfer two-parter episode of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Sega and Banpresto asked for permission from Saban Entertainment to use their characters but have the three replacements use their voices instead of Jason, Trini, and Zach. There are cinematic scenes in digitized form that are abridged from the movie and some from Season 2 of the show. Lord Zedd, Goldar, the Putty Patrol, and Oozemen appear as sub-enemies. Nimrod the Scarlet Sentinel, AC, and DC are renamed in this title as Sentinel Neck, Sentinel Ear, and Sentinel Ring respectively. Players also can fight the Ecto-Morphicons using Ninja Megazord or Falcon Zord (both by 2-Player mode; Thunder Megazord and Mega Tigerzord against the Sentinels). Bulk and Skull also appear as cameos in the game's ending.

The PlayStation version is similar to the Nintendo 64 version in terms of graphics, but the gameplay differs significantly. It features the five main Rangers as playable characters, with the Titanium Ranger as an unlockable character. The game can be played in single-player or two-player mode and also includes voice clips from the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue cast. Once chosen, the player(s) remain as the selected Ranger(s) for the entire game. During Megazord battles, the player using controller one can operate the Supertrain Megazord, which is replaced by the Omega Megazord in the final stage. Another special feature is the password system, which allows players to enter cheat codes for infinite health, lives, continues, and powered-up attacks. Players can also unlock an art and picture gallery, start the game at any of the first six levels, and access the Titanium Ranger. The final stage of the game is only accessible if the player saves their progress on a PlayStation Memory Card after completing the penultimate stage.

The game is a side-scrolling "beat-'em-up" game, one or two players pick their desired Senshi and travel through various stages defeating enemies. Items are sometimes dropped by enemies that can range from items that restore health, give extra points, or crystals that allow the Senshi to perform special attacks. Up to five crystals can be collected per player to power up the Senshi's special attacks. During the most difficult moments in battle, Tuxedo Mask will appear and throw a rose, which is a bonus to pick up and depart.

The dead have risen from their graves, and monsters and mutants prey upon what's left of the living. Three monster hunters have joined together, using their knowledge of the occult to slay the undead scourge.
