The Witcher: Enhanced Edition – Platinum Edition is an upgraded physical release of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, distributed on 2 DVDs and fully patched to version 1.5. What sets this edition apart is its wealth of bonus content and additional scenarios, making it the most complete version of the game available.
In addition to the two official adventures from the Enhanced Edition (The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects), this release includes five fan-made scenarios: Blight of Bogs, Deceits, Wraiths of the Quiet Hamlet, The Wedding, and Merry Witchmas. These extra modules, available in English and Polish (subtitles only), add several hours of new gameplay.
The Platinum Edition removes all DRM, allowing the game and the D’jinni Adventure Editor to run without the disc. It also includes voiceovers and subtitles in nine languages, with the option to mix audio and subtitle languages independently.
A second DVD contains rich bonus content: a 204-page artbook in PDF format, multiple official game guides and manuals in several languages, exclusive artwork and wallpapers, character avatars, walkthroughs for the fan-made adventures, and four music collections including the full official soundtrack. It also includes fun extras like a behind-the-scenes video and April Fools bonus material.
This edition is ideal for collectors and fans seeking the most extensive and DRM-free version of the original Witcher experience.
