The Idolmaster 2 is a Japanese raising simulation video game in The Idolmaster series. The story in The Idolmaster 2 is told from the perspective of a producer in charge of leading and training a group of three pop idols to stardom and receive music awards. Its gameplay, while remaining similar to the previous title, features several improvements and differences, including changes in the roster of idol characters and the removal of online multiplayer elements. At the beginning of the game, the player meets the president of 765 Production and is tasked with creating a unit of three idols from nine of the agency's members. The player and the selected idols are also tasked by him to become nominated to the Idol Academy music awards festival and win awards within 52 weeks.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva is a rhythm game and the first game in the Project Diva series. The game primarily makes use of Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created using these Vocaloids most notably the virtual-diva Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The game is the first video game to utilize the Vocaloid software developed by the Yamaha Corporation. In addition, Sega has released Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Dreamy Theater, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. It allows players to play Project Diva on the PlayStation 3 with updated visuals though it requires the PlayStation Portable to be plugged into the PlayStation 3 via a USB cable.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd is a rhythm game and a sequel to the 2009 title, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA. Like the original the game primarily makes use of Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created using these vocaloids most notably the virtual-diva Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. In addition, a companion game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater 2nd that allows players to play the game on the PlayStation 3 with improved visuals. There are a total of 66 songs available in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd.

Electroplankton is an interactive music video game for the Nintendo DS handheld video game console. It allows the player to interact with animated plankton and create music through one of ten different plankton themed interfaces. The first-run edition of Electroplankton in Japan came bundled with a set of blue colored ear bud headphones. The game offers two game modes: Performance and Audience. The Performance mode allows the user to interact with the plankton through use of the stylus, touchscreen, and microphone. Audience mode simply allows the user to put down the system and enjoy a continuous musical show put on by all of the plankton, although the user can interact with the plankton just like in Performance mode. Audience mode is like a demo mode in some other games.
