The central character in the game is, of course, Spot. Spot has somehow become trapped in a movie projector. The main levels are a pirate movie, an adventure movie, and a horror movie, but there are many other bonus films to unlock.

Originally a generic Rampage clone, Beam Software struck a deal with confectionary giant Leaf UK to incorporate their Chewits mascot known as 'The Muncher' into the game. While the mascot's promotional images and brand name were used, the game's giant monster bares little if any resemblance. It served more as a marketing strategy than an essential part of the game.

In this game the player must prevent objects dropping from the top of the screen from reaching the bottom by positioning their character directly under the falling objects. The player's character is a small smiling face carrying a strand of dental floss above its head. They must prevent the snack squares from reaching the row of white teeth along the bottom of the screen; repeated hits by the snacks cause the teeth to blink and disappear from tooth decay.
Set on a distant planet named Bazoik, the game follows the Chex Warrior, a humanoid in an anthropomorphic piece of Chex cereal armor, as he fights to eradicate the Flemoid invasion. These slimy, green creatures have infested the planet and captured many helpless citizens whom the Chex Warrior must save. His only weapon is a device called a "zorcher", which teleports his enemies instead of killing them. The game starts at the landing pad of the research facility on Bazoik, after which the protagonist is teleported to the storage facility. The other levels include the laboratory, the arboretum, and finally, the underground caverns of Bazoik, where the Flemoids seem to be making a home for themselves.
