The first PSP entry of the series and a new game in the franchise, Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception promises everything you'd expect of Namco's flight simulation series, including detailed jet models, an original storyline told through CG, options for fine tuning your machines, and plenty of real world jets. In Campaign Mode, you play as a pilot in the Gryphus Squadron of the Federal Republic of Aurelia. Defending the invaded country, your mission will take you to the battle-filled skies in order to take down the enemy and restore freedom and peace to their homeland. Campaign mode makes use of the Strategic AI System, where the contents of a mission change based on the strategies that you select. The game also has a multiplayer mode for up to four players. In addition to a last-man standing dog fight mode, you'll be able to split into teams for cooperative combat.
Set during the Korean War.

An expansion to Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe that allows players to fly in, and against, the unique P-38 Lightning. Players assume the role of a P-38 pilot, engaging in a series of historically-inspired missions that showcase the aircraft's diverse capabilities. These likely range from high-altitude interceptions and long-range escort missions to ground attack sorties, reflecting the P-38's real-world adaptability. The game probably features multiple campaign settings, potentially including the Mediterranean, Pacific, and European theaters, where the P-38 saw extensive action. With its emphasis on historical accuracy, P-38 Lightning Tour of Duty offers aviation enthusiasts and World War II buffs an immersive experience that combines realistic flight simulation with the strategic and tactical challenges faced by Allied pilots during the war.

Spitfire Ace is a combat flight simulator video game created and published by then-newly created MicroProse for several 1980s home computer systems. It was one of the first video games designed and programmed by Sid Meier. It was developed for Atari 400/800 (1982), Commodore 64 (1984) and DOS (as a booter, 1984). The Atari version was written by Meier and the game was ported to DOS by R. Donald Awalt. The Commodore 64 version was ported by Dale Gray and Ron Verovsky.
Become a F-14 Naval Aviator undergoing seek and destroy missions while dodging and gunning enemy bogeys in deadly dogfights with your 20mm cannon and air-to-air missiles. Your cockpit comes with state of the art technology, courtesy of the U.S. Air Force: Display and main computer, Bogey Alert Indicator, G-Force Indicator, Electronic Counter Measures, and a Cannon Overheat Indicator (yes, it can overheat!)...and if your feeling up to it, give the ol'bird a boost to Mach 1.0! The gameplay like other simulation games consists of taking off, flying, combat and landing. Though most of the gameplay focuses around dogfighting with enemy bogeys (dodging missiles). In addition to that, there are also night-flying missions that add difficulty due to limited vision. Taking off and landing however, also requires additional skill as your doing it on the USS Enterprise (No relation to Star Trek), not on your standard airstrip. Pay attention to the F.D. officer as your preparing to take off (since he's the boss when it comes to this stuff...and try not to run over him...yet). Your weaponry consists of a M 61 Machine Gun and 3 different AIM Missiles (AIM 7, 9, 54) each packed with 15 missiles (that's a lot of missiles!). After each mission you will receive a Mission Rating which is based on your flying skill, number of bogey kill and number of weapons fired.
Fighter Ace 3.5 is an online combat flight videogame that takes the player to the skies over Europe and the Pacific. The ability to participate with other players from all over the world enables huge aerial battles involving dozens of aircraft from small and nimble fighters to hulking flying fortresses. There are three primary modes of play: Dogfight, Territorial Conquest, and Offline Play. The first mode is pure action: jump-in and fight either individually or as a team. The Territorial Conquest is the real meat of the game: players align themselves with a particular country and fly strategic bombing missions against their enemies. Enemy supply centers and tank columns must be destroyed while the player's own resources are protected. Finally, Offline play is designed to train and hone the player's skills needed to participate in online play. A.I. enemy pilots serve as fodder. Players can chose from over 96 planes to fly from all the major belligerent countries: United States, Great Britain, Germany, the Soviet Union, and Japan. The box included includes three months’ free online gaming for new subscribers.
