World Advanced Daisenryaku: Sakusen File is an entry in the Daisenryaku series with the campaign focusing on the eastern front during World War II. The game uses hexagonal grid over the battlefield map similar to that in the original Panzer General game. Available gameplay modes include standard mode and campaign mode. In standard mode the player can choose and play any map in single player or multiplayer and available selection of units is preset. In campaign mode, the player can go through Soviet story campaign which follows the actual historical events of WWII, or Cenozoic virtual campaign where any of the five available forces, namely US, British, Soviet, German, or Japanese, can be selected. During the campaigns the units evolve over time and upgrade into more powerful units that were developed during the course of World War II.

Daisenryaku II: Campaign Version is a turn-based war strategy game that relies on the gameplay template introduced in Daisenryaku II: up to four players engage in battles against each other or computer AI, represented by differently colored armies (blue, red, green, and yellow); the belligerents produce units and vehicles and navigate them on a hex-based grid, trying to occupy the enemy's major cities and harbors. Dai Senryaku VII: Modern Military Tactics is a turn-based tactics videogame, originally released exclusively for the Microsoft Xbox on May 29, 2003 as a part of Microsoft's push in the Japanese market. It is a part of the long-running Daisenryaku series of war strategy games. It was translated and published by Kemco in North America on February 16, 2005. Its Xbox exclusivity was broken when the game was ported to the PlayStation 2 and released in Japan in 2006. The PlayStation 2 version was released as Dai Senryaku VII: Modern Military Tactics Exceed in North America in 2007. A PlayStation Portable port was released in Japan in 2008.

Daisenryaku is not a series owned by Sega, but the Mega Drive version of this game was co-developed and published by the company, meaning it qualifies for the Sega Ages 2500 series. Despite a graphical and audio update, little has changed in this release, and none of the upgrades in game's many sequels were put into this version.

Iron Storm is a traditional turn-based strategy game. The original Japanese release was the second entry in Sega's Advanced Daisenryaku series, with gameplay very similar to that of it's 16-bit predecessor, changing some details and using 3D animations for the combat cutscenes. The game uses a hex-based map and features fog-of-war, weather, unit experience, unit upgrading, supply, and other common strategy wargame features. Unlike the previous game, three campaigns are available instead of one. Japanese, as well as United States forces can be commanded now in addition to German units. The scenarios that are played during a campaign can change depending on the battle results - a successful player may invade North America for example. There are also ten scenarios with pre-set forces separately available for selection in Standard Mode, during which the control of all involved armies can be switched to a human player.

Daisenryaku Portable is a military turn-based strategy game for the PlayStation Portable published by Genki. The game takes place on a battlefield of hexagons, upon which the player assembles an army. The aim is to capture cities and factories, in order to increase available resources. The hexagons are rendered in an isometric view with no rotation supported, but the individual attacks are rendered in 3D. The game supports use of the ad hoc wireless mode of the PlayStation Portable for two player multiplayer. The main campaign takes place in the Far East in the twenty-first century. The factions in the game are fictional versions of Japan, USA, Russia, China, South Korea, and North Korea.
