Alliance of the Golden Witch is the fourth arc in Umineko no Naku Koro ni and the final arc of the original Umineko no Naku Koro ni visual novel. It introduces the character of Ange Ushiromiya and follows her quest to discover the truth of the Rokkenjima massacre. The game was bundled with the first three episodes and was the first game to hold the full Umineko no Naku Koro ni / When They Cry 3 set of games.

This story is about a young boy named Tohno Shiki who, after experiencing a traumatic accident, wakes up in the hospital with the ability to see lines and cracks in every surface and being. These lines, when traced with any sharp or blunt edge, will be permanently cut. As he is forced to see these lines everywhere, Shiki is distraught until he meets a mage girl who gives him glasses that allow him to live a normal life. Years later, after living in a relative's home, the death of his father has him summoned back to the mansion he left years ago. There he must learn to live with his younger sister and two maid girls. One day Shiki's life takes a turn for the worst when, on the way to school, he meets a blonde woman and he's overcome with the urge to kill her.

The anonymous protagonist is diagnosed with lung cancer shortly after his twentieth birthday, and is admitted to hospice care at a hospital in Mito, Ibaraki. There he meets Setsumi, a woman who is two years older than he is, who is also terminally ill. Finding that they both refuse to die in the hospital or at home with their families, they run away together in a silver Honda Integra belonging to the protagonist's father.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Musu takes place in the year 1996 during a short period of time on April 14th in Skinner's home within a residential neighborhood. The principal of Springfield Elementary School named Seymour Skinner, who lives on and owns his own home in the aforementioned peaceful neighbourhood, has invited Superintendent Chalmers to his home, to enjoy a home-cooked meal of his making. After Superintendent Chalmers arrives, something goes amiss, and things don't go according to plan. Will Seymour be able to salvage this meal as well as Chalmers's perception of him?

Turn of the Golden Witch is the second arc in Umineko no Naku Koro ni. The arc follows Battler Ushiromiya and Beatrice as they battle over the existence of magic. This is the first arc wherein the "alternate existence" versions of characters from Rokkenjima make an appearance. The story focuses heavily on Rosa Ushiromiya and Shannon.

A few months after the end of Tsukihime, life at the Tohno mansion has more or less returned to normal. Akiha is busy with school and managing the Tohno estate, Ciel gives Shiki regular after-school lessons to help him catch up on everything he missed, Hisui is ever happy to await Shiki-sama at the front door, Kohaku is as cheerful and crazy as ever and Arcueid has finally gotten firmly in touch with her feline side. When the village of Hinamizawa is suddenly placed under lockdown by the government, the villagers begin rioting and killing each other as supplies grow scarce. The school club members try to escape the chaos and retreat to Okinomiya, but more problems arise.

Two students living in Hinamizawa, Rika Furude, and Mion Sonozaki, rest at a bus stop on a rainy day and wait for the bus to arrive. Some employees soon join them, who are working on a project that will build a dam in Hinamizawa but result in the village's destruction. As the group makes their acquaintance, they talk about a phenomenon related to the strange deaths of dam project employees, the curse of Oyashiro-sama. Hinamizawa Teiryuujo was the prototype of what would later become Higurashi When They Cry, initially proposed as a stage play written by Ryukishi07, but it was rejected by the theater company and later repurposed for the game.

An annoying protagonist, an ordinary school life, a few friends here and there. This is the story of a young man who falls in love willingly, and perhaps of a couple young women who fall in love somewhat less willingly.

Twilight of the Golden Witch is the eighth arc of the Umineko no Naku Koro ni series as well as the fourth and final arc of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. The story follows Ange Ushiromiya as she is pulled between the whims of two Game Masters: Battler and Bernkastel. The original release of Twilight of the Golden Witch contains the previous 3 episodes. In other words, it is effectively the full Chiru release.

Requiem of the Golden Witch is the seventh arc in Umineko no Naku Koro ni and the third arc of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. The story follows Willard H. Wright and Lion Ushiromiya as they attempt to solve a new game designed by Bernkastel. The story is primarily focused on the history and parentage of Sayo Yasuda.

Dawn of the Golden Witch is the sixth arc in Umineko no Naku Koro ni and the second arc of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru. The story follows Battler's game as narrated by Ange Ushiromiya to Featherine Augustus Aurora. The story focuses heavily on the romantic relationships of Shannon, Kanon, and Beatrice.

This game is a Visual Novel produced by 2nd Revision. It tells the story of the protagonist Cheng Feng, who received an anonymous letter and returned to his hometown after three years of absence, but was involved in a serial murder case.
