In Philippines ’44, as MacArthur you will command units from both the US Sixth and Eighth Armies as well as US Army Air Force and Naval air groups. The Japanese forces, led by General Yamashita, had at his disposal, three major commands, the Shobu, Shimbu and Kembu Groups. Yamashita’s command outnumbered the Allied forces but had to defend a vast territory with limited knowledge of where the Allied forces may land. All that is lacking is for you to kick off one of the largest land campaigns of the Pacific War. Philippines ’44 is a fascinating title, focused on a rarely covered campaign. There is both a range of operations as well as diverse forces for both sides. Actions ranged from amphibious landings, airdrops (for both sides!) to a range of land actions. The environment and terrain are much more of a hinderance to action than is the case in Europe and the juncture of weather, jungle and other challenges impacts the speed of movement and play. Philippines '44 includes 76 Scenarios – covering all sizes and situations, including a solo tutorial scenario plus specialized versions for both head to head play and vs. the computer AI. Philippines '44 provides multiple play options including play against the computer AI, Play by E-mail (PBEM), LAN & Internet "live" play as well as two player hot seat.
In World Conqueror II you will be a general to accomplish a lot of important campaigns during World War II and Cold War. You can fight with or against those famous generals including Guderian, Rommel, Patton, Zhukov, Nimitz, MacArthur, Yamamoto, Montgomery and de Gaulle. It’s so impressive to see their unique tactics and ace forces. Patton and Rommel are well-known for their panzer corps, Nimitz and Yamamoto for their aircraft carrier fleets while Goering and MacArthur for their air forces – all of them are one and only. It’s your choice to be a part of the Axis or Allies in WWII, but only after that can Cold War scenarios be unlocked. As campaigns go on, different equipment of each nation would come on the stage. Germany’s Tiger Tank and the Soviets’ Katyusha Rocket are two of the most powerful weapons, to name but a few.

The game, that is turn-based, takes place on a map that stretches horizontally from the east coast of North America to the Ural Mountains in Russia, and vertically from just below the Arctic Circle to the North Coast of Africa. There are six campaigns, each a year in the war that are played until the end of the war, starting with the Germans attacking Poland.
World War II: Frontline Command begins by dropping you into Europe to disrupt the entrenched Axis forces before D-Day. From that point on, it's up to you to take command of your forces to turn the tide of Axis aggression by conquering important areas using authentic infantry, vehicles, and weaponry. You can play 25 single-player missions or challenge up to four of your friends through a local area network or over the Internet. Develop your own combat strategies, but remember to keep your soldiers' morale high so that they are more willing to perform heroic actions.
