An early horror game released for the Bandai LCD Solarpower handheld system in 1982. It featured two LCD panels stacked on top of each other.

Ball (originally known as Toss-Up in North America) is a Game & Watch game released as a part of the Silver series on April 28, 1980. It was the first Game & Watch game. It is a single-screen single-player Game & Watch. In Game A, the player tosses two balls in the air. As the balls fall, the player must catch and toss them up again. One point is earned for each successful catch. A dropped ball will display a broken ball and end the game. The object is to continuously catch the balls that fall and throw them back up, as in juggling. In Game B, the player must juggle three balls, and each successful catch rewards ten points instead of one.

Bombsweeper was a multi-screen Game & Watch video game released in June of 1987. The game was never released in Japan. The game's model number was BD-62. Using the D-pad to move John Solver, you must reach at least one of the bombs hidden in the walls to clear the screen and receive a bonus for the time remaining. The only obstacles in your path are the walls, which you must either maneuver around or push them along provided there is no obstruction in the way. Some levels are a test of speed, others are a test of logic and intelligence.

There are two Game & Watch games called Mickey Mouse. In this one, which is part of the Panorama series, Mickey has to juggle while balancing on top of a ball. Mickey can lose a life by catching a fire stick instead of a juggling stick or missing catching the juggling stick completely.

In 1997, a Bomberman-themed LCD game was released by Bandai. The game is played much like the original Bomberman games, with the player having to destroy blocks in a grid-like maze in order to find the entrance to the next level. The game also features sound effects and music.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Shredder's Last Stand is a stand-alone handheld video game by Konami, released in 1991. It is based off the 1987 TV series. This game was adapted for a Japan-exclusive 1994 release under the title of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LSI Game & Electrical Note."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Four for Four is a 1992 handheld LCD video game released by Konami. The United Kingdom release was re-branded Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: Four for Four and revised the game's sticker artwork.

Penny Arcade: Spider-Man 3: Bell Tower Brawl 3 is an LCD game based on Spider-Man.
