Amberstar

Ambermoon is the second game in Thalion's never-finished Amber trilogy that was started out by Amberstar. The sequel is set more than half a century after the first game, the world of Lyramion just starting to recover from the destruction caused by the collapse of the red moon. The original protagonist is an old, dying man as the game starts out. He summons his grandchild and tells him about a vision he had, of an old friend who supposedly died more than forty years ago and warned him of a great evil rising again. He sends the youth on a quest to seek that old friend and find out what is behind that vision. Concerning gameplay, Ambermoon is similar to its predecessor. The player initially controls only the main character, having the choice between a male and a female protagonist with several portraits each, but otherwise unable to customize them at that point. During the course of the game, additional characters may be recruited in various places in Lyramion; up to six form an active party that participates in combat. All characters can train physical attributes by specific NPCs in various towns, while some can also buy, learn, and cast offensive, supportive, and healing magic spells.

Immortal: Unchained is an action role-playing game and third-person shooter with a high difficulty level and a focus on firearm combat, though basic melee weapons such as swords, axes, and clubs are also available. Enemies have critical weak points, typically the head and a glowing spot on their backs, that can be targeted for extra damage. The game is set in an alternate universe whose backstory draws on Norse mythology, spanning Nine Realms tied to a central artifact called the Monolith.

GreedFall is a single-player action RPG set in a fictional world inspired by 17th-century Baroque Europe. Players take the role of a diplomat arriving on a remote island inhabited by natives with supernatural abilities, now contested by colonial factions from various nations. A prequel, GreedFall 2: The Dying World, was released in 2026.

Borderlands 3 is a first-person looter shooter set seven years after the events of Borderlands 2. Players select one of four new Vault Hunters and travel across multiple planets to stop Troy and Tyreen Calypso, twin cult leaders seeking to harness the power of alien Vaults scattered throughout the galaxy. The game features procedurally generated weapons, cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, expanded skill trees with multiple action skills per character, and new traversal mechanics including sliding and mantling.

Darkstone is an action role-playing game with a medieval fantasy setting, played solo or in multiplayer and often compared to Diablo. Players choose from paired character types such as warrior or Amazon, wizard or sorceress, assassin or thief, and monk or priestess, then travel across four increasingly difficult lands to complete quests, fight monsters, and explore dungeons. Gameplay centers on improving character stats and gear, learning spells from spellbooks, and picking up skills like lockpicking and trap disarming, while a central village serves as a hub for trading, banking, and restocking supplies. Randomly selected quests and shifting dungeon layouts vary each playthrough.

Star Control: Origins is a science fiction action-adventure game that combines planetary exploration, diplomacy with alien races, and one-on-one ship-to-ship space battles. Players captain a starship, sending a lander to survey planets, gather resources, and examine artifacts, then spending those resources on new technologies, weapons, upgrades, and ships from other races. The top-down Fleet Battles pit two vessels against each other and can be played against the AI or in multiplayer. It is considered part of the Star Control series but takes place in a separate universe from the original games.
