Story of Seasons Mobile - Life & Love has all the core features from the series: farming, ranching, mining, gardening, getting married, and exploring your local village. It was originally available on Docomo phones in Japan before being ported to Steam in September of 2024.

Story of Seasons is the latest Harvest Moon title and allows players to fully create their own character from scratch. XSEED will be bringing the game to North America in 2014.

Morikomori Life is a social and simulation game featuring Ghibli-style artwork, with a core experience that is based on farming and social relationships. The main character, Kaon, receives a secret letter from her grandmother, which leads her back to her childhood hometown of Komori, a quiet village far from the hustle and bustle of the city, where she experiences a healing life. The Japanese-style paradise-like village is depicted using 3D toon shading to reproduce realistic textures, bringing the animated world to life. Believing that the separated villages and people would one day be reconnected, the Harvest Goddess sent a bottle into the ocean with a letter and a magic key, then fell into a deep sleep...

In the game, players build houses, control virtual people called Sims to satisfy their needs and wishes, and let them complete different kinds of actions to gain "Simoleons", "LifeStyle Points" (both of which are currencies in the game) and XP. Unlike other Sims games, The Sims FreePlay runs in real-time and takes real time to complete actions. All actions must be instructed by players, unlike in the computer version, where Sims can have some degree of autonomy. Players can currently progress through 55 levels to unlock new content and create up to 34 Sims. In the game, only married sims can have children and there is a limit on the amount of allowable couples.

Natsume's farm simulation series makes its debut on the PlayStation with Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. It is the first Harvest Moon game for a non-Nintendo console. Starting with a few rudimentary implements and very little money, players begin the arduous task of reviving their grandfather's farm and thereby claiming their place as its rightful heir. Players are given three years to achieve this goal. A year consists of four seasons, each of which lasts 30 days. Different crops can be planted each season, but before the seeds can be planted, the land must be cleared and then the soil tilled. Seeds must also be watered until the fruit or vegetable matures. Once the crops are ready for harvest, they can be placed in a shipping bin where they'll be collected and paid for. In addition to farming, players will interact with local villagers and partake in seasonal events such as the Tomato Festival and Fireworks Display. As more money is earned, players can expand their farm and begin to raise livestock such as chickens and cows.
