Bunny Black is a classic dungeon-crawl game that is composed by party management, dungeon exploration, grinding, and fulfilling missions with scaling difficulties throughout the game. Just like a lot of role-playing games that adopt the same genre, grinding is heavily emphasized in order to finish the game. In battles, players may only control the protagonist and develop him with whatever build, from both skills and equipments standpoint, possible.

Lunacid is a first person dungeon crawler inspired by old FROMSOFT games like Shadow Tower and King’s Field.

NoMaKo is an omorashi RPG. If the term “omorashi” is alien to you, then this probably isn’t your type of game! It’s usual turn based RPG action with adventures to be had, dungeons to be travelled through, and many puzzles to solve. All while drinking to recover HP and MP and having to deal with the bladder need of the characters who are animated with progressively more desperate squirming. If this need isn’t handled, well… laundry can be done at any inn! Design is intended to not be frustrating: running is always successful, no missing, KO’d party members still receive EXP, etc! A unique feature compared to other RPGs of this type is the ability for characters to learn to push themselves further with holding. Starting development in 2005 under the codename "Rapture", FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE was announced in 2009 for Windows and the PlayStation 3. It ran on Square Enix's Crystal Tools middleware engine, which was adjusted to suit the game's specifications. During development, the team carried over multiple aesthetic elements from FFXI while creating something that stood on its own. Due to several factors, the development was beset by problems that would later have drastic effects on the game. Attempts to bring the game to Xbox 360 consoles fell through due to disagreements with Microsoft about the use of Xbox Live. After its alpha test and a delayed beta test, the game went live on September 30, 2010, remaining active until its servers were closed on November 11, 2012. At launch, the game received a mixed to negative reaction: while the graphics and music met with general praise, other aspects were unanimously panned, including the gameplay, interface, and the general impression of the game being unfinished at launch. Critic and fan backlash caused Square Enix to pull subscription fees, indefinitely postpone the PlayStation 3 version, and eventually develop an entirely new version of the game called FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE: A REALM REBORN. The poor reception has had a serious impact on the FINAL FANTASY series, with both staff and company officials saying that the brand had been damaged.

Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei is an action RPG developed by Telenet Japan, based on a manga of the same name. Despite sharing a name and source material with the Atlus developed Famicom game, it is an entirely different game. The player is tasked with traveling through the Makai, which is divided between eleven worlds themed after the Sephirot. Each of the worlds contains eight floors, though they are not always arranged in ascending order. Each world, other than the starting world Malkuth and the center world Da'at, is further divided into "good" and "evil" versions, for a total of 160 floors.
