Something mysterious is going on at the reploid research island. The reploids have ceased functionality... their data strangely erased. Now the investigation team encounters "irregular" reploids infected with a strange new DNA chip. This strange DNA chip, known as "DNA Soul", replaces useful data with a devastating Sigma virus and places all reploids in imminent danger. Now, it's up to Mega Man X and his comrade, Zero, to get to the damaged island and find out who is behind the DNA Soul virus.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a side-scrolling action game where players assume the role of adventurer Pitfall Harry Jr. as he searches for his father, Pitfall Harry. The game features various environments such as Mayan jungles, waterfalls, and deserted mines. Players can bungee jump and boomerang their way through 13 levels.

Congo Bongo is an isometric platform arcade game released by Sega in 1983. The game has come to be seen as Sega's answer to the highly successful Donkey Kong game that was released two years prior. The player takes the role of a red-nosed safari hunter who tries to catch an ape named "Bongo". The hunter seeks Bongo to exact revenge for an apparent practical joke in which Bongo set fire to the hunter's tent, giving him a literal "hotfoot". The game was named by Peter W. Gorrie who was the CFO of Sega at that time.

Jet Set Willy is a flip-screen platform game in which the player moves the protagonist, Willy, from room to room in his mansion collecting objects. Unlike the screen-by-screen style of its prequel, the player can explore the mansion at will.

Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars features Alex Kidd and Stella searching for the twelve Zodiac signs.

Gyroscope is based on the Atari arcade game Marble Madness, the gameplay is very similar except the player controls a spinning gyroscope rather than a marble. The game is presented in isometric 3D. The player must guide the gyroscope from the top of the course to the bottom within an allotted time limit. If the gyroscope topples off the edge, a life is lost. Hazards on the course include potholes, aliens and glass slopes which cause the gyroscope to spin in random directions. There are five courses comprising four screens each. The gyroscope had to land on a marked square to complete each level.

Mario Clash is the first 3D stereoscopic Mario game released for the Virtual Boy. The game is a return to the style of the original Mario Bros. To progress through the game, Mario must knock enemies off platforms using Turtle Shells. There are always two Koopas; if one gets knocked off, another one takes its place. Many enemies need to be hit from the side, thus Mario must throw shells from the background to the foreground and vice-versa in order to knock them off.
