Corpse Party (Corpse Party BloodCovered in Japan) is a part of the Corpse Party survival horror adventure game series created by Team GrisGris for the PC. It is the remake of the original Corpse Party released in 1996 for the NEC PC-9801 with a reworked plot and new characters.

The game is a remake of the PC game Corpse Party BloodCovered, which in turn was a remake of the original Corpse Party game released in 1996. Several changes were made from the PC version, such as enhanced background graphics, inclusion of CG event artwork, and professional voice actors. The 3DS version adds improved graphics and extra chapters.

Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion follows three high school friends; Haruka Nanami, Nemu Takanashi, and Maria Hitsugi, as they explore the Amare Est Vivere Hospital, testing a local urban legend as the streamer Nemu seeks to boost her subscriber count. Unfortunately for the three girls, the legend of “Ayame’s Mercy” is true, and they trigger a decades-old curse that sends them into a dark realm. Together they must avoid the vengeful spirit of Ayame Kirishima and other horrors from the hospital’s dark past as they search for a way to dispel Ayame’s curse once and for all.

A friendship ritual gone awry transports high school student Ayumi Shinozaki and her friends to an alternate reality version of a tragedy-stricken institution that stood on the site of their own school long ago. Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient is a game in the Corpse Party survival horror adventure game series. Players take control of a set of characters to explore the eerie hospital and escape from there. To do so, characters must interact with the environment to find clues and items needed to unlock the locked areas.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is the direct sequel to Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, and is the first game featuring settings and characters rendered in 3D. Platform is PlayStation Vita, released in Japan in July 2014 by 5pb.. The characters are depicted in 3D chibi style, however traditional CG artwork appears during cutscenes, illustrated by Sakuya Kamishiro.
