Downtown Nekketsu Story is the original version of the game known as River City Ransom. The game was first released as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, but has since been localized as Downtown Nekketsu Story.

River City: Tokyo Rumble follows the story of a hot-blooded high school student named Kunio and his good friends. River City Girls 2: Double Dragon DLC is an upcoming DLC for River City Girls 2 which adds in Billy and Jimmy from Double Dragon as playable characters.

Picking up shortly after the original, River City Girls 2 once again put you in control of Misako and Kyoko - as well as Kunio, Riki, and a few new characters - as they set out on an all-new beat-'em-up adventure across the mean streets of River City.
