Dragon Ball 3: Goku-den is a role playing video game released only in Japan by Bandai. It is the third Dragon Ball video game for Famicom (its predecessors being Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo and Dragon Ball: Daimaou Fukkatsu). Its sequel is Dragon Ball Z: Kyoushuu! Saiyan. You control Son Goku and his friends Krillin and Yamcha in this game. The gameplay is mostly based on training your characters and then taking them to fight enemies, advancing the plot. All the activities in the game (including walking around on the world map) are performed through choosing one of the available cards. Depending on the value of the card, you can move a certain amount of squares on the map, have an advantage in a battle, etc.

The game is a remake of the 1989 game Dragon Ball 3: Gokuden with improved graphics and sound. It relates all the Dragon Ball story until the fight against Piccolo Junior. The main character is Goku as a child and as an adult, though Krillin and Yamcha are also playable characters in one battle.

You control five various Dragon Ball characters in this game: Son Goku, Son Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Future Trunks. The game is based on training your characters, and fighting with them. The outcomes of the fights are determined by the player choosing different cards he has at his disposal, and combining them to create various attacks.

Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu is a role playing video game and the first Dragon Ball game for the Super Famicom. It was released only in Japan on January 25, 1992. Super Saiya Densetsu is a remake combining two earlier Famicom games of the Gokuden series: Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freeza, but without the movie characters and anime filler elements that were featured in them.

You control two characters, Ben and Ginji, who possess special powers that allow them to find and to recover items, valuables, and even people who got lost. Sansara Naga is a role-playing video game that was published by Victor Music Entertainment exclusively to Japan for the Family Computer on the 23rd of March, 1990.
