The Dragon Ball Z universe makes its first appearance on the seventh generation of consoles with the release of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit. It features the detailed graphics and dramatic, seamless battles expected from a next-generation console. During each battle, you will find conditions that create new dramatic scenes with characters and movement reminiscent of the original animation. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques. Play as the good guys or the bad guys in this high-energy fighting game. The plot of "Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road" is a brand-new story revolving around Majin Buu being released in Future Trunks' Alternate Timeline. The controls remain the same, but there are some additional functions that can be used during gameplay. As one of the characters from the Dragon Ball Z animated series, you can master an all-new fighting system that lets you teleport, juggle opponents, fly, and attack in a variety of ways. As you progress through the tournament, you can unlock up to 40 bonus characters from the DBZ universe. You can also post and retrieve character profiles from the Internet.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 gives you 22 playable characters, each with an arsenal of unique moves, kicks, spins, slashes, and specialties, an additional five bonus characters can be unlocked with one command, including Master Roshi, Kid Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Vegeto, and Mr. Hercule Satan.

Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension is a 2D fighting game and the last DBZ game made for the Super Famicom (SNES). It is based around the most memorable battles from DBZ and introduces more traditional and fluid combat mechanics.

Players can search every inch of these iconic environments to take on more than 100 unique missions, collect valuable scrolls and interact with additional characters from the NARUTO animated series. Injecting additional variety to the game's head-to head combat, these missions include races, special deliveries and large-scale battles against massive opponents.

Dragon Ball Z fans can rest assured that the destructible environment, and character trademark attacks and transformations will be true to the series. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is the first installment of the Xenoverse series and the Dragon Ball game developed by Dimps. It is the first fighting game to feature full 3D battles similar to the Budokai Tenkaichi series. Fighters can traverse the levels free-roaming in large spaces and can fight on ground, in the air and underwater. The game features spoken dialogue from a majority of main characters while in battle, and characters show facial expressions when they strike an opponent or take damage. Although limited, the players have some freedom to explore the planet Earth as it exists in the Dragon Ball universe along with a handful of other locations.
