Faith of Danschant is a Chinese RPG game developed by JoyFun Game using the Unreal 4 engine and released on December 22, 2017 by Wangyuan Shengtang in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The game's story is set in ancient Kyushu. It tells the story of how the balance between man and god has been broken, how the gods no longer care about the world, how disaster has swept the world, and how the people of Kyushu will deal with it.

Developed by Beijing Joyfun, it is a sequel to the 2017 RPG Faith of Danschant, featuring Chinese martial arts and sword fighting, but now with a realtime action-RPG combat system for even more thrilling and complex battles.

In comparison to its predecessor, the game mechanics have been changed from turn-based to real-time, and it also includes unique features such as constellations and achievements.

Starting development in 2005 under the codename "Rapture", FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE was announced in 2009 for Windows and the PlayStation 3. It ran on Square Enix's Crystal Tools middleware engine, which was adjusted to suit the game's specifications. During development, the team carried over multiple aesthetic elements from FFXI while creating something that stood on its own. Critic and fan backlash caused Square Enix to pull subscription fees, indefinitely postpone the PlayStation 3 version, and eventually develop an entirely new version of the game called FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE: A REALM REBORN. The poor reception has had a serious impact on the FINAL FANTASY series, with both staff and company officials saying that the brand had been damaged.
