Gears of War is a third-person shooter built around a cover system, where players duck behind obstacles and use tactical fire to advance on enemies. The signature weapon is an assault rifle fitted with a chainsaw bayonet, and a timed reload mechanic can grant a brief damage bonus or jam the gun if mistimed. The five-act campaign can be played solo or in two-player co-op, and a competitive multiplayer mode supports up to eight players split between the two factions. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the retail version of the episodic survival horror series that was originally released as four downloadable episodes. Titanfall 2 is a first-person shooter with both a single-player campaign and competitive multiplayer. The campaign follows a Militia rifleman who bonds with a Titan, a large bipedal mech, after his pilot is killed. Gameplay combines fast-paced infantry movement, including wall-running and double-jumping, with sections where the player controls the Titan in combat. Multiplayer features team-based modes with players fighting as both Pilots and Titans on the same battlefield.

Mass Effect 3 is an action role-playing game in which Commander Shepard leads a final campaign against the Reapers, a machine race that has invaded Earth and is conquering civilizations across the galaxy. Hitman is a stealth game and the sixth mainline entry in the Hitman franchise, serving as the first installment of the World of Assassination trilogy. Players control the genetically engineered assassin Agent 47 from a third-person perspective as he carries out contract killings across large, open-ended sandbox levels set in locations around the globe including Paris, Italy, Morocco, Bangkok, Colorado, and Japan. Each level presents numerous approaches to eliminating targets, from disguises and environmental manipulation to staged accidents and direct confrontation. The game features a classless system where players unlock new tools, starting locations, and gear by completing challenges. Originally released episodically, the game was later delisted from standalone sale in 2023 when IO Interactive consolidated the trilogy under a single package titled Hitman: World of Assassination.
