Hardware: Online Arena is an online multiplayer game that focuses on vehicular destruction using varying means such as missiles, lasers and machine guns. The game was released for PlayStation 2 with the launch of online play for the console and was possibly the first online game for PS2. The game was not a huge commercial success, selling very little. Later the game was added onto the network access disk that comes when you buy the network adaptor and during 2005 was one of the three most popular games played online having over 200 users on at any one time.

Prepare yourself for dangerous underground combat action in TUNNEL B1 for the PlayStation. Command your specialized B1 hovercraft in fierce battles, as you attempt to bring down an evil madman intent on detonating a thermonuclear explosion and destroying the world. Traverse dark and ominous caverns, dank sewers, and winding tunnels at super speeds while blasting enemies and collecting hidden power-ups. The objective of the game is to complete all 50 rallies without running out of fuel. There is no limit to how many vehicles a player can receive to complete a rally, as long as they have fuel. However, the destruction of the vehicle will subtract a small amount from the player's fuel tank. In the arcade, Genesis and Lynx versions, players could start the game at a higher rally, with additional opportunities to jump several levels from time to time. Players can continue their game from where they left off; however, the player has only one chance to complete the 50th and final rally. For completing the final rally the player gets one million points as a bonus. Players can get fuel in four ways: green globes, red globes, a checkpoint, and the rally point.

Part automotive racing, part shooter, Impact Racing lets you choose from five different cars which vary in degrees of speed, power, engine size, payload, armor strength, and grip. While racing on any of the twelve tracks, your car is capable of destroying other vehicles in its path. Each of the five cars is equipped with an endless supply of laser beams. During the race you can add to the arsenal by collecting heatseekers, mines, exploding firewalls, concussion missiles, and smart bombs. You can also pick up extra time and armor along the way. In order to progress through the game and race in bonus rounds, you must complete the courses and destroy a certain number of cars during an allotted time period.

Speed Punks is a racing video game up to two players and four with a multi-tap for PlayStation. The game involves racing around a variety of tracks while using several weapons; including items that make the racer's speed increase, missiles, and slime.

The PS1 Destruction Derby titles would put you in the seat of a high powered vehicle, in either an arena or a track, and the target was to race to the finish, while causing as much destruction to the other cars as possible. Now comes the PS2 sequel. Because this is now on the PS2, the capabilities are much higher, so now there is a vastly improved graphics engine, physics engine, and levels. There are now loads of online play modes to try, with up to 19 other racers online with you, and now, the crashes are bigger than ever.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter that serves as a reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series. The game features a single-player campaign, cooperative Special Ops missions, and a multiplayer suite with cross-platform play. The campaign emphasizes tactical realism, with morally complex scenarios, civilian threat assessments, and night-vision operations. Multiplayer introduces a revised gunplay system with extensive weapon customization, a Realism mode that removes the HUD, a Ground War mode supporting over 100 players, and a 2v2 Gunfight mode. Post-launch, the game received the free-to-play battle royale mode Warzone. The traditional season pass was replaced with free content updates delivered through seasonal battle passes.
