Hyper Final Match Tennis is the final installment of the Final Match Tennis series, and the only one to be released outside of Japan.

Super Final Match Tennis is a multiplayer tennis game for the Super Famicom. It features 28 different tennis professionals (fourteen male, fourteen female) and can support up to four players with the multi-tap peripheral. Various modes, such as exhibition and tournament, are available to play through. Super Final Match Tennis is a sequel to the highly regarded Final Match Tennis, released on the PC Engine in 1991. Another follow-up for the PlayStation, Hyper Final Match Tennis, would be released in 1996.

Final Match Tennis is by far the deepest tennis game in terms of gameplay on the PC Engine. In fact, its play controls are among the most sophisticated in a PC Engine game and in general, in a tennis game (what still counts to this very day). Don't get fooled by its simple graphics. There is everything in this game that tennis is about. Smashes, stop balls, volleys, back and forehand spins or lobs. At the top of it all, you can play it in every thinkable player combination (training, tournament, 1-4 players). By the way: in addition, its one of the best multiplayer games ever.

Top Rank Tennis is a Sports game, developed by Pax Softonica and published by Nintendo, which was released in 1993.

Final Set is a tennis game for the Super Famicom, created by Open System and Forum; a duo which would only go on to create one other game: Super Indy Champ, also for the Super Famicom. Final Set uses photos of actual people for its various playable tennis characters, and digitized actors as the athletes. The game has options for singles and doubles, allowing for up to four human players in doubles mode. There's also a World mode that allows the player to create their own tennis player, and build up stats by defeating other tennis players across the world.

This is a conversion of the SEGA coin-op game of the same name, playing lawn tennis around the world. The player travels from France, to Australia, to the US and end up in England and get to listen to the national anthem of each country. There are four difficulty levels to select the skill of the computer controlled player. One or two players may play but always against the computer. In a two player game, both players play as a doubles team. The game starts off looking behind the player as the style of serve is chosen (top spin, curve, etc) and then it switches to a top down view for the rally.

When you create a player yourself you can customize the player to a high degree. There are over 60 offensive and 10 defensive set-ups. Match options include an exhibition match, a whole season or the playoffs.
