Iron Aces

Genre: Simulator
Iron Aces is fictional World War 2 flight simulator. What that "fictional" means is that great liberties have been taken with the historical accuracy of the world and events. The most obvious point is that although most planes come from real World War 2 aircraft, the theatre of operations is a bit unique; The four major sides to the conflict (American, British, German, Japanese) are all fighting one another over a group of islands somewhere in the Pacific. Thus each of these nations is represented in close proximity and in direct conflict to one another. The gameplay takes place over a series of single-player flight missions in which your American pilot will fight against the Axis forces and ally with the British. The majority of the missions take place in the air against other aerial targets.

A naval simulation game. The Ocean Ranger is the first of a new class of frigate sized foilborne missile ships. You are able to track and destroy targets on the sea surface, beneath the sea, and in the air. Missions occur in one of four locations (from easiest to most difficult), the Bering Sea, Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Persian Gulf. While in port you can choose to equip your ship with a variety of weapons, then take off to rid an area of hostile enemies. In battle the view is from the deck of the boat, allowing enemies to be targeted and destroyed.

Energy Airforce: aimStrike! is the second title in Taito's military flight sim series, and is greatly expanded over its predecessor. Several new types of aircraft have been added, including the F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-15 Eagle, and A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the need to pass license tests to unlock aircraft has been removed. As before, the game includes a wide range of missions, including both air-to-air and air-to-surface missions, and there is also a mission generator called Strike Mode, where the player can set up a wide range of options and play a free mission.
