This golfing simulation game is the 2007 multi-platform edition of Electronic Arts' Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 is a golf video game in the PGA Tour series available for PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, Mobile phones, and PC. The game features several types of play, including the development of golfers in a simulated PGA Tour environment. Among other things, the game also features a set of famous courses and players. Also it includes the Stroke Play, Match Play, and Skins Play among other numerous methods of play. It also includes the Four Ball, Best Ball, and Stableford modes of play. By being able to customize golfers and advancing that character through several stages (from amateur to pro) the game allows a high level of identification with the character. The virtual ego can be equipped with various pieces of equipment and styled according to the wishes of the player. The custom outfits are licensed and include several brands which are commonly present in professional golf, among others: Nike, Adidas, Callaway, Ping, Taylormade etc.

Based on the arcade hit, Peter Jacobsen's Golden Tee Golf matches realistic gameplay with fun and easy-to-learn controls. The game features six 18-hole courses, from desert green to island links, and players can unlock an additional set of six courses after besting the computer opponent in tournament mode. Play classic stroke or skins scoring, with other options such as Bingo Bango Bongo, Speed Golf, and Club Roulette. This version features several enhancements over its coin-op cousin. Realistic shadows, water reflections, and fog, plus dynamic wildlife and flags add to the gaming experience. The game also displays full-screen replays with adjustable camera views.

Arc Developments created a 3D game world called Reality3 for this simulation, licensed around one of Britain's top players. There are two courses, plus a hidden 9-hole course on Mars with reduced gravity, with match play and stroke play options against one of 8 varied-difficulty computer players. The control system is quite unusual, as the strength of the shot is chosen before you start the swing, but you have to click within a range to activate the shot, and this range is narrower if your shot is intended to be more powerful. An extra click can be made to add wrist snap, which increases the shot's power. The wind calculation is more complicated than most games of the era, and the rough is harder to play out of than usual, as you can't make slight stance adjustments easily.
