Jaws: Retro Edition

Jaw is an action-adventure game based on the popular movie franchise. Players control a diver and a boat, navigating between ports, collecting shells as currency and battling sea creatures including the infamous great white shark Jaws. With simple mechanics and a mix of underwater combat and overworld sailing, the game offers a fast-paced arcade-style experience loosely inspired by the films.

You’ll start your adventure at the gates of Universal Studios, where Woody Woodpecker will greet you and ask for your help restoring the letters on the Universal globe. As you venture forward, you’ll encounter riveting rides, souvenir shops, amazing minigames, and more marvelous characters like Shrek and E.T.

JAWS: Ultimate Predator on the Nintendo 3DS system puts you in control of the hulking terror of the seas like never before, letting you experience the action through the eyes of the beast in startling 3D. Developed by n-Space and produced by Microprose, the Nintendo 3DS version of JAWS: Ultimate Predator lets you defeat an army of shark hunters and rule the ocean by unleashing deadly attack combinations such as Feeding Frenzy and Corkscrew Shred while using the Touch Screen to bite, ram and dodge enemies.

In Jaws: Unleashed, the player assumes the role as the large shark Jaws. The shark first enters the island from the southern end and the player finds itself in a cove. The cove has tutorials to allow the player to become familiar with the controls, such as the ones for moving the shark and attacking other creatures. The shark has a menu for upgrades as well. These can be accessed from either the main menu or the pause menu. Upgrade points are earned by causing destruction around Amity Island (in levels and in free-roam mode), completing levels, and/or collecting bonus items, the most frequently found of which being treasure chests.
