Justice League Heroes is a console video game for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable systems. It is based on DC Comics' premier superhero team, the Justice League of America. It was developed by Snowblind Studios and published and distributed by Warner Bros. Games for all systems except Xbox which was distributed by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with DC Comics. It is based on the long-running comic book series, (as opposed to other recent Justice League games which are adaptations of other media besides the source material) and was written by veteran comic book and Justice League of America writer Dwayne McDuffie. It uses the Dark Alliance Engine. Two handheld Justice League Heroes games were released at the same time for the GBA and Nintendo DS systems. The Nintendo DS game shares a similar visual style and gameplay mechanics to the console version, but serves as a prequel to its story. This version was developed by Sensory Sweep Studios. The GBA version is titled Justice League Heroes: The Flash and focuses primarily on The Flash. The game featured 2D sidescrolling action gameplay and a sidestory to the console game's plot. This version was developed by WayForward Technologies.

X-Men: Children of the Atom is an arcade game featuring characters licensed from Marvel Comics. Timed with the popularity of the mid-1990s X-Men animated series, the game incorporates voice actors from the show reprising their respective roles. The gameplay involves one-on-one fighting matches, where players face off against different characters in the game. You play Dr Bruce Banner, whose life is turned upside down after a freak accident in the lab transforms his rage into the Hulk, an unstoppable massive green muscle creature. Based on the long-running comic book series (and not the 2003 film, The Hulk) you must control the green giant through 33 levels of intense action in which multiple enemies will attack you at once, and walls can be bashed through to get to other areas, and anything that gets in your way can either be destroyed or used as a weapon. Also included is a 4 player mode in which each player takes control of a different coloured Hulk in an all-on-all brawl.

The game is set in the Marvel Universe and features a blend of strategy, role-playing, and card-based combat mechanics. The story revolves around battling the demonic forces of Lilith, the Mother of Demons, who has been resurrected by the nefarious group Hydra. The gameplay involves strategic, turn-based combat, where players use a deck of ability cards to perform attacks, skills, and buffs. Between missions, players can explore the Abbey, the game's hub area, where they can interact with other heroes, upgrade abilities, and make decisions that affect the story and character relationships.

Lego DC Super-Villains is a Lego-themed action-adventure platform video game developed by Traveller's Tales. The fourth installment in the Lego Batman series of games, it is a spin-off that focuses entirely on villains of the DC Universe; it is the first in the series to do so since the villain levels from Lego Batman: The Videogame. While the core gameplay follows the same style as past Lego titles, including the addition of a two-player cooperative multiplayer mode, DC Super-Villains is the first title to incorporate a customized character into the story.

X-Men: Mojo World, a video game released in 1996 for the Game Gear system, features Wolverine and Rogue as the initial playable X-Men, with Gambit, Cyclops, Havok, and Shard unlockable later on. The game utilizes the same engine as its predecessor, X-Men: Gamesmaster's Legacy, and was also launched for the Master System in Brazil by Tec Toy. Set in a dystopian future, Mojo hosts a deadly TV show where participants engage in fights to the death. Having imprisoned certain X-Men from the past, Mojo aims to recreate their most epic battles. Wolverine and Rogue must enter the game, rescue their friends, and ultimately defeat Mojo to return home. Players start by choosing either Wolverine or Rogue. As each new level is conquered, additional X-Men become available, starting with Gambit, followed by Cyclops, Havok, and finally Shard. If any X-Men perish, the player must restart the level, selecting from the remaining characters. When all X-Men are defeated, the game concludes. Each character can activate their unique power at will. Wolverine employs his claws, Rogue can fly, Gambit hurls explosive cards, Cyclops unleashes optic blasts, Havok fires plasma blasts, and Shard utilizes energy blasts. Characters have both an energy meter and a power meter, depleting when they take hits or use their powers. Energy and power-restoring items can be found throughout the game. The gameplay primarily revolves around navigating through six levels, with each level culminating in a boss battle against well-known comic characters such as Magneto, Fitzroy, a Sentinel, and others.
