In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
Populous is a real-time strategy game where the player takes the role of a deity influencing the development of civilizations. You shape terrain, guide followers, and use natural disasters like floods, volcanoes, and earthquakes to influence or eliminate opposing tribes. The game features an isometric perspective and includes 500 levels (worlds), each with different challenges. Originally developed by Bullfrog and designed by Peter Molyneux, it is considered one of the earliest examples of the god-game genre.
Enemy nations aim to conquer the continent as well and will attack your bases to do so. The battle for the continent will differ with each play through. Accumulate stories and events from the six nations in the Records. A new game based on the 1998 PlayStation game Brigandine, which was remade in 2000 as Brigandine: Grand Edition, that will probably be revealed as part of the 2019 Tokyo Game Show in September.
