During the first half of the 21st century, the war on terror became a global phenomenon, as more blatant and frenzied attacks struck deeper into the lives of common people. Inevitably, the public outcry to stop the madness grew to an irresistible level; the military forces of the world slowly but steadily retooled their approach, weapons, and tactics to combat people who were willing to die for their cause. One of the consequences was the harassment of civilians on an unprecedented scale, leaving destruction and misery in its wake. The world was soon rebuilt and a new age of prosperity and technological progress began. Science focused on creating a viable fusion power source and new technologies which would exploit this new power. A group of corporations was granted almost total freedom in order to pursue these goals. This may have seemed dangerous a hundred years ago, but in 2112 it was considered appropriate and was supposed to foster creativity and growth on an unprecedented scale. It didn't.

In this psychedelic sci-fi Olympiad, athletes from planets across the galaxy gather to compete in the Purple Saturn Day games.

As a commander of a spaceship you explore an unknown planet and are soon attacked by its inhabitants - the Electrosauri. You are shot at from above as well as from the sides and it becomes increasingly difficult to fend off the attackers the further the game progresses. The game allows the player to play several variations (e.g. difficulty level, number of enemies on screen, attack patterns etc.).

At the edge of the galaxy on the fringes of hyperspace and hypertime, your space craft is trapped in a bizarre space/time warp. You are engulfed by a band of space pirates bent on destroying you and your crew. It'll take some inside moves with your controller, and skill that's out of this world to get out of this one!

A very simple and primitive spaceshooter.Shoot aliens before they reach your spaceship. The ship is equipped with two weapons: plasma guns and smart bombs. You get more points, if you shoot the aliens immediately after they appear.

Space Fortress lets you control a mid-screen base while defending it from enemies emerging from each of the four edges of the screen.

Operation Carnage is a top down arcade-style shoot-em-up for DOS developed by Midnight Synergy and released in 1996. It is now available as freeware.

Slope is the ultimate running game that will put your skills to the test. Speed down on a randomized slope. The farther you go, the faster your ball travels. This game might look simple but playing this will give you extreme adrenaline rush. Just remember to avoid obstacles and those red blocks.
