The game presents single letters or words up to four letters long, which float towards the player while increasing in size. Using a joystick, players must quickly select the correct letters from their towers to match the oncoming words. As players successfully match words, a progress bar fills, unlocking more challenging stages. The game features five progressively difficult levels, starting with simple letter matching and advancing to longer words. Word Flyer supports both single-player and two-player cooperative modes, encouraging teamwork and shared learning experiences.
